During my daily dose of The Sartorialist, I came across this photograph. I've recently been pretty ill and feeling a little sorry for myself. I've also been craving warmer weather as I've started bringing out Summer designs and have been bathed in new fabrics just begging to be twisted and turned into their full Summer potential. The bright colours and anticipated bare toes, as much as they're a nagging inspiration, don't come close to what this pic did for me. I'm in need of a detox. Design wise, fashion wise, colour wise, health wise, the whole thing! I'm ready to shed the layers of all that Winter laid on my shoulders and literally bask in the refreshed hue of a new season. It's amazing what 'barely-there' can do or how in pure simplicity we can see so much. This utterly fresh photo has me going gaga at it's sophistication. Here's to the coming season, the heat and it's 'hotting-up' of our wardrobes. It really can't come soon enough..Stay fabulous fashionistas!
